WHAT IS A SMARTGLYPH™?
A Smartglyph™ is an Action Code, as are Bar Codes or a QR code.
Bar Codes and QR Codes store their data in the code, in the case of QR Codes, this is a permalink, the code resolving a simple text string or URL, which is visible to all concerned and therefore VERY UNSECURE. QR codes are unmoderated, open source and mostly free to use and therefore open to potential malware abuse.
Smartglyphs™ store NO DATA within the graphic, only a vector (pointer) to a data structure within a closed, SECURE, network. This indirect addressing mode allows the data stored & referenced by Smartglyphs™ to be virtually infinite (whereas QR Codes have very small data payloads).
